Today we are happy to announce that Modland is under new management. Modland is a tracker music ftp site, started by Coma in the 2000’s, and run by himself up unto now. We thank Coma for his tremendous efforts to create an amazing archive of music for the world to enjoy, and we humbly hope to continue and grow the archive for the coming years.
For our users, it is our intention and hope that they will not really notice the changeover whatsoever. While we are on a complete new backend, we seek to replicate all functionality including rsync service to our mirrors as seamlessly and painlessly as possible. We are reachable on our new Discord server or at admins@modland.com if you wanna come talk to us. We also seek to re-open /incoming for uploads once we have cleared out what is already sitting there.
Upwards and onwards,
Menace (content) and Ziphoid (technical), modland.com
Long-running Russian demoparty DiHalt came back with a vengeance last weekend and was an — gasp — actual event with real people gathering into the same place, like in the old days... Anyway, people did show up and they released plenty of nicely-looking and/or nicely-sounding things, particularly for the ZX Spectrum as usual for DiHalt.

New kid on the block Hogmanay held a virtual event on December 31st and January 1st and the releases and results are now available. Please have a look and enjoy the first releases of the new year, which we are convinced will be better than the previous one :)
Christmas productions have a long history in the demoscene, with hundreds and hundreds of festive releases over the past 35 years or so. Demosplash, the long-running North-American demoparty, has reached the 10-year mark with this edition, and we're happy to extend our congratulations to the persistent organization team. As more or less expected those days, this year's event was online only, but that obviously didn't deter the motivation of the hardworking people who submitted many entries in the various competitions. There's a bit of everything, newschool and oldschool, so please have a peep!
