Revision just closed its doors and although it was an online-only event for the second year in a row (and hopefully the last time), the vibe and the energy were felt loud and clear beyond its traditional Saarbrücken playground. Thanks to our lovely contributors who stayed on deck to channel the tsunami of releases, we already have the full results nicely lined up with their respective download links, all available for your perusal.
To celebrate the tradition of the German Easter Party, we had a lighting bulb moment and thought, "wouldn't it be cool to revisit all those parties and make sure there's screenshots, credits, playable music links and everything else - perhaps we can even find some long-lost entries?" So, join us for the next few weeks upto Revision Online 2021 and let's fill in some blanks!

Check out Byte Battle, a brand new event and concept we've invented and will be premiering at Lovebyte 2021 demoparty, where contestants are battling each other 1 vs 1 in a retro-style match against both size and time.
At the Lovebyte party, we will have 8 contestants that will duke it out in a ladder tournament on the weekend of March 12th - March 14th 2021. We will announce the contestants and first round matches at the Lovebyte Opening Show on Friday.

BCC took place in Berlin (but online) yesterday and the results and releases (C64 only) have already been added to Demozoo. The quantity and the quality of the productions appears to be beyond what you would expect from a relatively small event, so make sure to check them out!
To celebrate the best tiny intros, we'll be awarding the best productions of 2020 on march 12th, 2021 at the Lovebyte 2021 Demoparty (http://www.lovebyte.party/)
Over the next 2 weeks, we will be announcing the 10 nominees for each of the categories. Starting with the nominees for the Best Oldschool Tiny Intro on friday the 19th of february 2021.
From march 1st until the start of the Lovebyte Party, you'll be able to vote on your favorite tiny intro.

As some of you have figured out from the Github commit and the footer of the actual webpage - today we're announcing we're moving our community over from Slack to Discord.
The reasons for this move are many - both technical and otherwise, but most importantly it's about moving where the people are. We're seeing an increased use of the platform, and more and more we were seeing people reach out to us over there on other servers rather than joining our Slack. So overall, it made sense in the end.
In order to secure a smooth turnover, this Slack will live on through february and march, before we will close it down, which should mean everyone has a good amount of time to figure out how to move over.
So, click on through to https://discord.io/demozoo - and we'll see you on the other side.
