FThe Vortex 42 Computer Meeting 1988 was held on the weekend between friday the 13th and sunday the 15th of may, 1988. The party was open to both C64 and Amiga computers, yet any C64 releases remain something of an enigma - despite some comments here and there mentioning c64 demo competition contributions, the csdb release page is entirely empty. Entrance fee was 50 SKR. No official results were made available that we know of, the winner of the demo competition is quoted from the History section of the Phenomena homepage.

Several of the productions from this party were collected on the Amiga packdisk Arvika Demodisk by Digitech, released on the 16th of may - the monday after the party. The late may release of the demo School's Out by The Gang also referenced events at the party heavily, and had two pictures from inside the hall.
