Sphinx was a Dutch- and Swedish-based C64 demo and cracking group, formed in may of 1988 by breakout members from the group Science 451. The original member roster was Hightech, Judge, Karl XII, The Leader, Galleon, Gaunt, Syncro, The Bright Lion and Captain Rock - all former members of S451. Radius was another former member of S451 that joined up down the road.

Reports in November 1989 said Mike and Rebel left Dynamix for Sphinx.¹

It was reported in May 1990 that Mike and Headhunter left Sphinx for Alpha Flight.²

The group disbanded in 1990.
