I sent a MSX BAsic submission, I said that it was 73 bytes long but actually the bas file is 59:

I will be seeing stars for a while in my head!!
In the "strict" regular submissions, minor bug in the ranking. Maybe it's normal and is still adequate the way it is.
But for example ranking 4, 6, 7, 24 missing (seems when score is equal, they are same rank -- which is correct -- but the next rank then continues as if the equal-scored ranks continued incrementing).
All for fun and was enjoyable competition. Thanks!

Thank you for your comment. Your entry is really a great one! Actually, the submissions can't be changed after the compo is over. But it seems you would definitely have ranked higher when supplying all size values which were asked for.

The rankings for the "Christmas Star Challenge" are fine. If there is an ex-equo the next rank isn't used because it was kind of upgraded. For example, if there are two first ranks, it continues with the 3rd one.
That is totally normal for sport events. And it's normal for the demoscene too. Look at https://demozoo.org/parties/4378/. There, the ex-equo ranks are marked with =.
For the wild compo, there was only a slight ranking. Therefore, the rank can rather be seen as grouping, which is fine too.
