What is the story behind the so-called "lamer version"? A binary comparison reveals a single byte discrepancy at offset 0x3FC. The lamer version contains 0xD6 where the original holds 0xDA. But why?

As it turns out, a user on Pouet pointed out that the demo wouldn't boot on their older Flash 2 Advance 256 Mbit card. In response, Kusma released the "lamer version" as a compatibility fix.
