Throughout the past years, the archival teams of Demozoo and Scene.org have been working tirelessly to preserve old demoscene stuff from disks, CDs, tapes, and lost websites. From now on, we will present you with some highlights from the current excavations on a regular basis. This week, we have sifted through half-broken Wayback Machine captures to preserve releases from two MS-DOS era demoscene producers. First, we have Dual Processor System, a two-person outfit from Berlin who made oldschool intros and FM music in 1995-1996. And secondly, Albert Software Inc., who was, despite the name, a solitary coder on the Estonian island of Saaremaa. Happy Easter holidays! We'll be back soon with more preservation updates.
The Meteoriks nominees have been revealed at Mountain Bytes 2026. You can check the full list of nominations at demozoo and there is also a watchlist of other productions that didn't quite make it to a nomination but were highly discussed by the jury and quite worth watching.
The laureates for the different categories will be revealed at Revision.
All 190 entries from the Size Coding Challenge and 18 entries from the Wild category are online. Enjoy the incredible code and the creative snowflake-themed demos!

Our friend and resident Playstation expert ps1ch has made a very handy guide right here on Demozoo on how to extract and preserve ps2 cracktros. Hopefully it'll help more people grow skills in these areas, and we can have more classic cracktro history preserved.
Thank you, ps1ch!
