Could someone please clean up the screenshots for https://demozoo.org/productions/6949/ ?
There are 11 doublettes.
Thanks :-D
Got 'em all, I think. (now they're out of sequence though :p)
Merge https://demozoo.org/music/260547/ to https://demozoo.org/music/24485/ ?
Just after having added https://demozoo.org/groups/114252/ I read on https://demozoo.org/productions/77841/ that the subgroup apparently was just made up by the magazine.
Could you therefore delete https://demozoo.org/groups/114252/, please?
TheCollector: So the entry for the group is TNT-Crew then?
@ltk_tscc: The sprite routine (https://demozoo.org/productions/278293/) belongs to the TNT-Crew.

Is dupe of https://demozoo.org/sceners/25222/ (references updated)
music/23282/ is titled "Farewell My Revervie" on Demozoo, but the last word should be "Reverie".
The compo results file has the same error that you have:
https://files.scene.org/view/parties/1999/gravity99/results.txt
But the original MOD info text has the correct spelling:
https://modarchive.org/index.php?request=view_by_moduleid&query=150236
Mirrobird: thanks, that's now been fixed. Results files indeed sometimes have typos and should always be checked against the title of the actual prods.
Velusip: dupe scener entry removed, thanks.
Phoenix: you're right, looks like there's been a mixup here. Thanks for the heads-up, I'm going to add the missing prods.

menace seems like you mixed this up with a (not shown?) entry from thypyroo. remove the screenshot i guess?? (i already removed the download link to thypyroo's entry from korpse's entry.)

Does the deletion of a record gracefully remove all references to it? (I already removed the reference to this one, btw, but maybe this can be skipped in the future?)

Do you mind if I combine records for two versions of extremely similar mod files (providing all links to variations) or would you prefer keeping similar mods isolated with their own record? The threshold includes works which are identical in samples, pattern arrangement, and obvious intent, but may differ by tracker-specific headers. Keeping them isolated improves archival accuracy, but may cause confusion or be viewed as a dupe in the future in searches or attempts to link one of the multiple as a reused work in other production. Here is an example of two records for similar files used in two different productions:
1: https://demozoo.org/music/221801/
2: https://demozoo.org/music/221802/
1 contains additional credit text in the instrument list. Other than that, 1 and 2 differ by a single byte (which happens to suggest it was created in noisetracker then later saved as protracker with the new credit text, but could have been the other way around).
Hi everyone ^^

Is this scener (Med):
https://demozoo.org/sceners/10426/
(Keep the last one please, of course ^^;;)
velusip: If it is exactly the same song with the only difference being the sample texts, there is no reason at all to keep two entries. As an example, thousands of modules have had their sample texts modified when they were spread through BBSes, and we certainly don't need a dozen different copies of the same song with each version advertising a different BBS. IMHO it only makes sense the most original version as it was spread by the original author. In this case it's not entirely clear which of them is the original, but the download links are provided by different archives anyway, so merging them into a single entry with both download links kept intact is the correct thing to do.
https://demozoo.org/music/263850/
The AMP download link is wrong, because it contains actual question marks instead of the URL-encoded form %3F
Not sure if this is a general Demozoo encoding problem or just this one song.
Saga_Music: I feel the same way. Here's another example where two versions are compounded to a single record on demozoo, which I like: https://demozoo.org/music/60610/
I'm sure I'll run into instances where two versions should have their own records, but I'll secure and repaint that bridge when I get there.
mirrorbird: You can fix download links yourself, you do not have to ask us to do it :) Nevertheless I fixed the link to a working one.

Hi there!
Can you delete my comment at https://demozoo.org/productions/140821/ ?
A download link that was not supposed to be made available before a certain date was posted by accident. My comment refers to this (dl link was removed). Not that it matters much but to keep the release as supposed it would be cool to remove that last comment. Thank you!
Gone.
remove the screen that says Addition above (the first one) https://demozoo.org/graphics/279007/ I put it by mistake. Second one is ok.

Hi,
I hurriedly uploaded some screenshots of my ansi prod last night but I've managed to upload a decent full length grab today.
Can I have the smaller grabs removed and leave the full length one intact please.
https://demozoo.org/graphics/279383/
Cheers!
This is mostly for Sensenstahl (& Havoc if he checks this thread) - thanks for hosting a copy of my game here:
https://demozoo.org/productions/179417/
- unfortunately, it looks like you grabbed an early version. The latest is v1.3 for all platforms, which is available free from the official site (https://porta2note.itch.io/gridfighter-3d) This is probably the final version as I consider the game complete.
I wish I could just link the official site & leave it, but as the downloads there are not "web 1.0" direct URLs, there's no way to do that without sending poeple to the site first. I would still *much* rather have people download off my Itch site, as I get the analytics & download counts then, but the game is freely redistributable so I'm not going to make too big of a deal about it.
BTW as to why I don't just host a Web 1.0 download myself - I've had at least 3 different personal hosts just shut down without warning in the last few years after putting a bunch of work into getting them set up. One month of paid hosting would obliterate the entirety of the "profits" I made off the game back when it was pay-what-you-want. The Itch site is stable, and I've had a really good experience with them, so it just doesn't seem worth it to fork out to "roll my own", just for the sake of here/Pouet. Not sure what to do about that TBH, private http file hosting is going the way of the dodo whether we like it or not.
FuZioN: Done.
jmph: Do you actually get serious d/l on itch? Like 99% of the people there complain about going under in the general release flood anyway. (I for one would agree to just link to itch directly, but that might be a minority opinion here. ;)
