Digital was an Amiga demo group, formed by No.5 from the group Magnetic Fields around the middle of 1991. He quickly recruited several other Magnetic Fields members as well as some from other groups in the next few months. In june, the group put out The Main Event to announce their upcoming party in october.
Afternoon (may 1993) reported dramatically, "REDMAN LEFT THE SCENE COZ OF PROBS WITH THE POLICE... SO IF YOU WERE IN TOUCH WITH HIM YOU SHOULD DESTROY HIS ADDRESS!", and went on to list Clawz, Gengis, Reverse, Sn!per, Titan and Vodka in France, Andy, Jens, Evil E, G.T.O. and Radical in Germany, Microchip in Norway, Acid, Azi, Columbo, Corsair, Dax, Engineer, Flame, Gazzer, Intreq, Lexicon, Lonestar, Lord Flight, Mr. Concept, Number 5, Panic, Quartz, Streamline, Sync, Tex, Vendy and Yaz in the UK and Newjack, Spook and The Master in the USA as members at that time. Chippy Town 1 (september 1993) reported that Eloy joined from Masque, and that Sniper and Vodka were both dismissed from the group - but Vodka moved on to The Special Brothers. It further reported that Titan left Digital for Scoopex.
The group organized the Digital Symposium 1995 in october 1995.
Digital was reborn in 1996.
Ibenz joined from Passion and Skidrow in 1997. Tommy (music), Forge (gfx, old handle Mat, 97) and Snozz were all kicked late in the year.
The group was finally closed by Darkus in 1998. Darkus (doublememb Nuance, old handle Nemes!s) left for Network and Rebels, and accused Iceball (ex Ibanez) for most of the trouble DTL had suffered, because of his lying about new members and productions.
