Subzero was born in Wiesbaden in Berlin, Germany as a mainly illegal group, doing cracks and phreaking tools on the Amiga, but also with some interest in demoscene. Their slogan was "We don't demand quality, we demand perfection."
Mystical Dreep (23 may 1992) introduced Boogiman, Cubis, 711, Outsider, Zycro and Flatus as new members. Intro For Nothing (30 august) addressed a text file S0RIP.TXT that seemingly announced the end of the group, and welcomed Elminster, TNM, Extc, Laurence, Bootbuster, Dr. Dread, Rofoe, Fireball, Crane, B.O.B., Excalibur, Spy, Animator, Don Dog and Dalai Lama and went on to list The Smurf, Triton, Elminster, Darklord, Crane, Bootbuster, Dr. Dread, Zycro, TNM, Extc, Fireball, Rofoe, Flatus, Tim Cane (Germany), Excalibur, Spy (Australia), Don Dog, Dalai Lama, Animator (USA) and B.O.B. (Holland) as members. The Sceptic intro Wentro (15 november 1992) announced Laurence had joined the group from Subzero. It further mentioned he had previously joined Subzero from Vanish, but only stayed a few weeks before moving on.
A list of BBS affils from 1992 can be found here.
The group has not made releases since 1994, and is considered disbanded. This is why all members are set to previous.
