The march 1989 release Dølle Demo by It mentioned, "walkman used to be a member of phalanx, but a couple of weeks ago he joined it." In april, the group co-organized the X-Men & Deathstar & Overload & Phalanx Lahti Copy-Party 1989 in Lahti, Finland. Cracker Journal 14 (may 1989) contained a Finnish scene report, which mentioned, "Complex is a new crew formed by Phalanx and Overload." It further went on in its news section, "Phalanx is dead. Most members kicked out."
