Anubis is a c64 demo group. This bio is based on information from their old homepage (see the waybackmachine link above). Anubis was formed in october of 1997, when Red Redby left Pentagram and together with Manex and Filipon, founded the group Anubis. All three members came from the Czech Republic, and the first release was "Driller-Code", cracked by Red Redby. In december Zlortik left Pentagram, renamed into Lord Hypnos and joined Anubis. Anubis also located a new Czech member named Crayon. Ernie joined Anubis aswell.
In february 1998, Ceti left Pentagram and joined Anubis, who where at this point still a Czech group. In march a new Czech member named Sign joined Anubis. Lord Hypnos released his first dentro called Dementia. In july Lame World 1 was released, an intro collection by Red Redby. Crayon was at this point added to the in-active list. In october, music collection Sid Agony was released. Exin joined the Anubis forces, and Filipon returned after a visit in the army. In november Welli, Drake and Silverstar joined Anubis. In december, the manga collection Exin Design II was released.
In january 1999, Manex had his turn at the army, so he was now a little in-active. TSD left Axelerate and joined Anubis. Sid Agony 2 was released. Toxoplasma joined Anubis, and Exin was moved to the in-active list. In february Filipon was declared in-active, and the "Ex-Max-Mix" collection was released. In june Lobo and Almighty joined. In july, the homepage came online.
Attitude 1 (april 2000) reported, that leader Red Redby left Axelerate and Satovia to concentrate on Anubis, that Dejuhra joined as a swapper (it was his first group), and that Drake doublejoined Tempest. It listed Almighty God, Drake, Ceti, Dejuhra, Ernie, Exile, Fefa, Lobo, Lord Hypnos, Manex, Red Redby, Sad, Sign and Silverstar as members at that time.
On september 28th 2001, Sad posted on c64.sk; "Hi everybody! After long time of nonworking of our HQ RedRedby some members of Anubis want to kick ass of this group. For this moment they are: Aki-musician, Lord Hypnos-coder, Sad-musician. I think, that more members of our exgroup will do it soon. If you are from some active group and if you are searching for new members with experience, here we are. Me and Lord Hypnos want to join." Publication 45 (december 2001) reported Sad, Lord Hyppnos and Factor6 subsequently joined Padua.
