Frantic was a German-based Amiga demo group, born around july of 1990.

There were two quite different groups using the name Frantic, one based in Germany and one in Finland. As the groups learned of each other, there was a cooperation proposal, but that fell through. The two groups then went into a rivalry, meaning harsh words were exchanged in their productions, most notably the German groups' Quadrophobia from march of 1991.

The december 1990 X-Mas Party Intro reported that Snake and Rob had been dismissed from the group, while four new members had been recruited. It listed the full memberlist; Dr. Zook , Joey, Ken, Kevin, Magic, Midnight, Rival, Scientology, Strike, Tom Poison and Toxic.

Swapper advert in Eurochart 9 (march 1991), listing an address in Hamburg, West Germany for contact- A New Intro in april 1991 welcomed Baseline as a new subgroup, as well as new members Flexx and Technoid to the group. The early november intro Another Power Production mentioned Ken was now a member of Cytax, and went on to list ATC, Cellat, Copper, Flexx, Joey, Kevin, Octans, Rival, Robin, Sart, Sledge, Spock, Steve, Strike, Technoid and X-Ample in Germany, and Arise, E.S.P. and Macloud in Denmark were the active members.

R.A.W 2 (february 1992) reported that Flash left Vanish for Frantic. The group put out the self-titled Frantic Intro in march, announcing that Dr. Zook, Ken and Tom Poison had left the group, and that they had had a very shortlived Danish section that was now out again (meaning at least Arise, E.S.P and Macloud). The member status was Flash, Flexx, Joey, Kevin, Rival, Robin, Sart, Spock and Strike - all from Germany.
