Very Important Party (VIP) 3 was held at Espace Mosaïque in Saint Priest, France by Popsy Team for the Amiga and pc scenes. It was the 3rd VIP party. Only one production among the 18 demos submitted were for the Amiga. Since LTP was cancelled, VIP was the biggest french scene party this year. The arrangers announced on their website that gamers weren't welcome =) The fast compo (which could be either code, music or graphics) had the theme "Make an advert for Bunzli #10".
Flåd, Stil and Chew's 4th-placed intro actually cheated, by downloading an mp3 file from the network when executed, which Flåd cheerfully acknowledges in his party report in Pain 48 (and also admitted to the organizers after the party).
