Icing 1998 was held at Vättlehallen in Stenkullen, Sweden for the amiga and pc scenes. The 64k and demo competitions were held mixed, since there were only two amiga entries for each competition. Poison/Goto10 was disqualified from the multichannel competition for trying to compete with a tune he had previously competed with at The Party 6.

Report and results published in Showtime 11 (june 1998) and Speed 41.
