Gauntlet is a fantasy-themed hack and slash video game, originally in arcades by Atari Games in 1985. The arcade game was ported to many home platforms, including DOS, Apple II, Atari 8-bit, MSX, NES, Atari Lynx, Apple IIGS, Sega Master System, Mega Drive/Genesis (as Gauntlet 4), Atari ST, Commodore 64, Amstrad CPC and ZX Spectrum, among others.
