Pure Metal Coders was a Norway-based Amiga demo group.
In may 1990 members were Zorax, Cocy, Designer, Flush, Metal King and Ramjet (new member joining from Shape).1
The october 1991 release True Blue Slintro listed Peter, Flush, Ramjet, Vanguard, Zorax, Cocy, X-Ray, Designer, Zapper, Lord Helmet, Fairfax, Rattle, Batman, Dr. Feelgood and Metal King. November saw the release of the diskmagazine R.A.W 1, in which PMC announced they had kicked out 6 members since the Amega Party in late june; The Jack, Leatherface, Achmed B., Dr. Feelgood, Xion and X-Ray. They also announced Fairfax and Rattle were new members, but they were already in the memberlist in True Blue Slintro.
R.A.W 2 (february 1992) reported that Lonerider had joined the group from Visual Bytes, that Anders Hamre from Amiga Freelancers had joined, and that Anders from Airborn had joined the group.
At The Gathering 1993 in late april, Lord Helmet, Perplex and Kingpin left Pure Metal Coders for Spaceballs.
Having not made any releases since 1993, Pure Metal Coders is considered disbanded.
