Øistein Eide had a short but prolific career in the demoscene in the early 90s, before he turned to professional music work where he is still active today. In addition to releasing music under the name Boom Jinx, he also writes for video games and television.

He wrote music for the game Robocop 3 (1992).

He was interviewed for R.A.W 3 (june 1992).
