Cult was an originally Norwegian Amiga demo group, formed when the members of Action Force changed the name of their group. According to an interview in Cracker Journal 19 (march 1990), the German section of the group was formed in august of 1989 by former members of groups like Overkill, United Forces, Cervex and M.O.S.H.

Advert in Cracker Journal 18 (january 1990) looking for new members, and listing a PLK in Trier, Germany for contact. Cracker Journal 19 (march 1990) reported, "Channel 1 of Funline joined Cult."

Eurochart Top Ten 8 (january 1991) reported, "Cult Norway has split up. Electrix and three other members are starting a new group." The demo Tex-Tro came out towards the end of the year (we estimate november), and mentioned Mac as a "former member" and listed Dadi, Cybersonik, Tex, TGC, Holy, Mr. Mount, Easley, Dr. Jam and Shade as active members.

When the group dissolved, several members (SwEinstein, Beast, Yoghurt, ...) joined Network.

Nevermind 3 (march 1993) reported Cruncher joined the group from The Dark Demon, and subsequently changed his handle to Max.

Having not made any releases since 1992, the group is considered disbanded.
