Organiser of
- Energy and Cosmos Designs Party 1992 - 3rd - 5th September 1992
Cosmos was an Austrian c64 cracking group, formed in 1988 after most members left The Softkiller Crew to form this group. The original memberlist was SSD, Big-Ben, ATT, Icon and CHC. Their leader SSD supplied the originals for Antitrack to crack, and the rest of the group pretty much worked around that.
The april 1989 release Advanced Pinball Simulator+ hinted at some problems inside the group, saying "surely we are in some deeper problems at the mo" and "may soon under a new label".
After Cosmos stopped it's cracking activity some of their members reformed under the name Cosmos Designs for demo and game development. While a lot of their C64 demo activity was divided between Cosmos and Cosmos Designs label with same members and sub-groups.
On the C64, Hannes and Karl produced a series of games (mostly published in commercial German diskmags) from ca. 1991-1995.
Having the piracy crimes of the original Cosmos prescribed and the official website still presenting both groups as being part of same family and common history, we consider them the same group at Demozoo.
