Gate was a Finnish-based Amiga demo group.

Swapping advert in Cracker Journal 18, listing an address in Oulu, Finland for contact. At the Scoopex, Byterapers, Extasy Party 1990 in august, the group brought the musicdisk Bruno's Music Box II, listing Bruno, Diskrat, D.A., Fireball, Fagor, Gizzy, Golem, Griffon, Mark 17, Maniac, Metalman, Psycho, Python, Roland, Wraith, Tarzan, Direct, DFG, Funky Guru, Intec, Laiz, Octoplex, X-Ray and Zapotek as members of the group. Funky Guru, Intec and Zapotek were all new members, having recently joined from Zombie Boys. All three moved on to Crusaders in december.

When Image was formed in june of 1990, Finnish graphician and swapper Der HM joined them from Vision One. In december most of the Finnish and Norwegian sections joined Anarchy, and Gate died. Wraith was their previous leader, but joined the pack to Anarchy. These joined: Octoplex (swap), Laiz (swap), Golem (gfx), Griffon (music), Psycho (code), Wraith (code) and Bruno. Der HM later ended up in Complex. Xion left the scene when the group died.

Eurochart Top Ten 8 (1 january 1991) reported, "Golem and Bruno left Gate and joined Anarchy."
