State of the Art 2002 was held at Le Fresnoy in Tourcoing, near Lille in the north of France, by the pc demo group nOmad in cooperation with Orange Juice. It was the 1st State of the Art party. Entrance was 15 euros, which included food and drink. Seminars were planned with people like Moby and Thomas Landspurg, as well as live concerts with Stamba, Trez & Brioche (chiptune mix), Djam (mix), Will Be & Chaosnet (drum'n'bass), Yoy & Skizo (live video performance) and others.
