Mekka 1996 was held at Burg Seevetal in Hittfeld, Germany by Amable. This was the 1st and only Mekka party; from next year on it was merged with the Symposium party, under the name Mekka & Symposium. It gathered almost 300 people. It was the first real PC-only demoscene party in Germany.
