2000 AD was a Danish-based multiplatform demo and cracking group, formed on the C64 on october 8th, 1987. The eventually branched out to the Amiga, and even the pc platform. The early release 2000 A.D. Needs listed Apollon, Blitz, Droid, Jolly, Network Ten and Softtech as members at that time.
2000 A.D. Party was released at the Hexagon Party in october 1988, and announced Frenzy, Savage and Laxity had left the group for Starion.
The group arranged the 2000 A.D. Party 1989 in June. Drake left to rejoin Contex around september 1989.
The C64 section disbanded in 1990.
Dutch sysop Sectorcharger (Logic System) joined from Endless Piracy in september 1992, and became the group's new EHQ.
