A lot of us that work on Demozoo are focused on preservation, and we spend a lot of our time sifting through dumps and captures, seeing if we can find one of the many things from our culture that has been deemed 'lost' or is unknown. Therefore, it is double exciting when we stumble onto something like this: staff member sensenstahl found the entire pc demo competition from the Hurricane and Brutal Summer Party 1992!

Newcomer Shadow Party took place online last weekend for what has been a really promising start. The oldschool and TIC-80 competitions in particular saw some good numbers and some polished releases.

Outline took place online for the second time in a row — and we hope the last time ever. The full results and downloadable releases are now in and show a nice mix of productions for machines old and new, and should offer something for everyone.

Revision just closed its doors and although it was an online-only event for the second year in a row (and hopefully the last time), the vibe and the energy were felt loud and clear beyond its traditional Saarbrücken playground. Thanks to our lovely contributors who stayed on deck to channel the tsunami of releases, we already have the full results nicely lined up with their respective download links, all available for your perusal.

Check out Byte Battle, a brand new event and concept we've invented and will be premiering at Lovebyte 2021 demoparty, where contestants are battling each other 1 vs 1 in a retro-style match against both size and time.

At the Lovebyte party, we will have 8 contestants that will duke it out in a ladder tournament on the weekend of March 12th - March 14th 2021. We will announce the contestants and first round matches at the Lovebyte Opening Show on Friday.

• From Havoc & Superogue, With Love...

BCC took place in Berlin (but online) yesterday and the results and releases (C64 only) have already been added to Demozoo. The quantity and the quality of the productions appears to be beyond what you would expect from a relatively small event, so make sure to check them out!
