Symposium 1996 was held at the Burg Seevetal hall in Hittfeld near Hamburg, Germany by Polka Brothers, Lego, Phantasm (amiga), Cubic Team (pc), Avena, Absence (atari) and Oxyron (c64). Gandalf was main organizer, and he was joined by people who had previously organized the 680xx Convention, Black Box Symposium and the Fried Bits last year. About 640 people attended.
Invitations appeared in Bad News 4 (april 1996).
Reports appeared in the diskmagazines Showtime 2, Flash 1 (may 1996), and Brainfart 6.
