Evoke 1997 was held at the Jugendheim in Arnoldsweiler, Germany. It was the first ever Evoke event, organised by the sysop team of Kaoz BBS together with Black Maiden and Ethos 9.
From the Evoke archive page; "The first Evoke was the follow-up meeting to Nexus 3, a fun meeting with about ten visitors from the uprising german ansi scene. Evoke 1997 was a really big success, the location (in the village where Faxe and Poti come from) was overcrowded, the weather was brilliant and there was even some money left for the prices."

The name of the village the party happened is Arnoldsweiler, not Arnoldweiler. Please correct the text, the place name in the header is correct. You can delete this comment afterwards. Thank you :-)
