X 2001 was held in Hengelo, The Netherlands. It was the sixth X party. There was originally a website at http://www.scs-trc.net/x2001/, which has since gone from the web, and has unfortunately never been indexed by waybackmachine due to a robots.txt disallowing it.
64ever's 2nd-placed demo was not released at the party, and it would be almost a year before it was. There was an IK+ game competition, won by Ninja/The Dreams with SAV/Xentax in second place and 8-bit Servant/Church 64 and Mac Guyver/Protovision^DMAgic on split 3rd.
