First opened as 4th Dimension (january 1991). Within the first month, the name of the bbs was changed to The Rebellion (november 1991 - july 1992), which in turn a few years later changed to Violent Playground.

Listed in European BBS List (Europes Ghost List) April 1991 (april 1991) as affiliated with Rebels, using the name The Rebellion.

It ran for Rebels between january 1991 and february 1992, as an affiliate for Razor 1911 between november and december 1992 and as VP for Elitendo between september 1993 and november 1994.
