sensenstahl: Both done - sorry for the delay! :)
Hi,
Can you please delete the following scener entry: http://demozoo.org/sceners/59005/
(duplicate of http://demozoo.org/sceners/21770/ )
Thanks!
Exocet: deleted.
this https://demozoo.org/productions/150077/ is a dupe of https://demozoo.org/productions/21388/ already copied credits and missing stuff to the earlier added one.
please delete that prod https://demozoo.org/productions/158704/
it is a dupe of this http://demozoo.org/productions/9201/ to which you might add a note "ad for the Direct Connection BBS". Thank you and sorry for the trouble.
Sensentahl: done.
Please remove http://demozoo.org/music/158878/ as I already added it here: http://demozoo.org/music/158877/.
This http://demozoo.org/productions/158875/ is a dupe and the same probably goes for all the other entries TomBombadil added for http://demozoo.org/productions/158871/
https://demozoo.org/productions/158978/ is an accidental dupe because I didn't know how to add two entries with the same compo placing. It can be deleted.
jmph: nuked :)
jmph: Just so you know; you can edit the "placement" area, so after you have added 6th place and it automatically populates 7th, you can just go back and edit that to 6 as well. In the past, we've often added a = sign before split placements, with the idea that we would parse that in software down the line and it would read "split 6th at this and that party" in results, but didn't ever get around to it - so you could always put "split 6" in that field and it will display as that.
Please delete https://demozoo.org/productions/160251/, it's a dupe.
Done.
hm, to keep things clear i guess it would be great if the "original" prod is linked along with the to be deleted dupe; sometimes there are informations in the dupe that are missing in the other one. :)
@sensenstrahl
I transfered all missing informations from the dupe to the correct entry before requesting deletion. https://demozoo.org/productions/128499/ is the original prod.
Yes, I verified before deletion that no information was lost.
Could you please delete https://demozoo.org/sceners/66671/? It's a dupe of https://demozoo.org/sceners/31454/. Thanks.
TheCollector: done :)

Hello @menace,
I was very suprised today to log in and see the impromptu unilateral-overhaul both FlashyTheLamer and dipswitch did silently last two days :
https://demozoo.org/groups/67225/history/
Can you please revert it to how it was 3 days ago and how it was since the creation of demozoo if you still bear any care for the demoscene and scene in general ?
I don't seem to be able to revert the changes of dipswitch.
Thank you in advance
@Baudsurfer: The decision to separate out the "new" Red Sector Inc. from the original was made in unison by several members of the staff (dipswitch and myself included) after internal discussion on the matter and significant interaction with original Canadian Red Sector inc., and will not be reverted. We simply aim to represent the history of the demoscene as accurately as possible, and we feel there is little evidence (especially after talking to the members in question) that there is actual ties between the old and the new Red Sector Inc. On behalf of Demozoo, I sincerely hope you take this decision in good spirit, and will continue to create great intros under whatever banner you choose in the future.
@Creonix: Seems someone beat me to it with regards to the deletion, 162210 is already gone.
As for Devil's real name, we try to be as smart as possible about revealing something like that on a profile page, so we'd like Devil himself to let us know it is ok with him, or if you can point us to some current profile on other sites where he reveals his identity to be the same as Devil. For now, I've added an admin-only note to the fact and linked to your forum post.
Hi,
Please merge https://demozoo.org/sceners/42814/ with https://demozoo.org/sceners/1353/, it's the same guy. Cheers!
Argasek: done.
What's the correct course of action for a party that for all intents and purposes never actually happened? :)
@Gargaj: Ehm, good question. :) If you have some background information and a source, I could add that to the trivia for the time being.
Alternatively, since you've gone to the trouble of learning Python anyway... https://github.com/demozoo/demozoo/issues/96 ;)
There's that but my point is the prods there obviously don't exist, yet they're treated as if they do.
A....ha. I have to admit ignorance here - I was simply not aware of this. But looking at it with those eyes, that makes sense that Jumalauta would do that.
It's sadly FAR from the norm that most or even all files are missing from parties, so it didn't even occur to me that this was not legit.
Let me get my thinking cap on for a good way to handle that. If they've been able to fool a lot of people for a number of years (including me, then) then these things are out there in the zeitgeist of the demoscene, and it would be nice to have the metadata for this recorded somehow - at the same time as we do not want these productions counted against the production counters and such if they are indeed vaporware.
Well the results file is not on scene.org anymore, tho I found a mirror of it here: http://www.thegopherarchive.com/info.php?ID=59537&lid=53062
Even better: http://www.pouet.net/topic.php?which=1467
menace: I think you should put a note that maybe "includes" the results files ... explaining that the party didnt exist... and we should delete all the entries.
yes, i also think this would be the way to go
Hello,
Can you please delete the two below errors/entries on my behalf :
https://demozoo.org/competitions/12736/edit
https://demozoo.org/productions/162228/
The Riverwash 2016 results are here :

taken from original source here :

Thank you.
Someone's added duplicates of a couple of pictures. These are the entries that could be removed:

Hi,
There were (at least) two groups called Overflow, the first a Finnish Amiga group that had a few intros and prods to their name in the first half of the 1990s. The second appears to be a PC group that was active around 1996-1997. The groups have nothing to do with each other.
Only Mr. Spaghetto and Runelord of the listed were in the Amiga group.
https://demozoo.org/groups/12982/
Here's a more info on the Amiga group, it's not all correct either, making the division would be more important.
Dr TerrorZ: thanks for the tip. I've moved the members and their respective releases into a new Overflow (Amiga) group. Feel free to contribute with missing releases :)
Would you please create a new party series for the Nectarine/scenemusic.net music compos and add https://demozoo.org/parties/2251/ and https://demozoo.org/parties/1958/ ? Thanks!
cxw: Done. Inherently, every party actually gets assigned a party series, it just isn't exposed until there are several iterations. :)
https://demozoo.org/graphics/38159/ - first screenshot is wrong
"emulsja" (what a stupid name) is that one with city and twisted face satelitte 2000
"nieżywe dziewczynki grające w łapki na księżycu" (don't ask) - grayscale one with twisted girls – satellite '98 I guess
