Aurora

(amiga)

Aurora was a Swedish-based Amiga demo group.

The august 1990 Demo Collection 10 Intro welcomes Thorax (graphics), Saturn (code) and Red Dragon (swapper) as new members, as well as announce that Tac, Nic, Hellcat, Dr. Marvellous and Platypus were no longer part of the group.

The june 1991 demo Dreamscape welcomed Tech as a new modemtrader. The december demo Illusions announced a few new members; Rocket, Deejay and Trinty all joined from Hypnosis (6 months earlier), Trodac from Alpha Flight (with his bbs The Unforgiven), Dodger and Ragman all joined.

R.A.W 2 (february 1992) reported that Dexter joined Aurora from Alpha Flight. Spirou (code), Cuddley (code), Regulator (code), Zipex (trade) and Megastorm (music) all joined the group in july, a fact which was announced with their early august release of BBS-Intro. At The Party in december, the groups final demo Lost In Denmark was released to a disappointing 11th position in the demo competition.

Swedish coders Spirou and Cuddley both left the group for The Silents in february of 1993, a fact that was announced in the intro Hybrid Glenz later that month. Aurora was disbanded towards the end of the same year.
