Pulse was officially born on the 5th November of 1995 by the Polish division of Surprise! Productions (Camel, Unreal, Niko, Sketch, Skowron, Scorpik), plus French members of Distorsion (Paranoia, Made) and Infiny (LCA, AJT, Antony, Shad). The Polish members did finish one last demo for Surprise! Productions, Cocoon, at The Party 1995 - since they had promised it to S!P organizer Reebok and wanted to keep their promise - but at this time they were already actually members of Pulse. Skowron was one of the original members, but was kicked pretty quickly after the formation.

The april 1996 diskmagazine Bad News 4 reported that Sebl (from The Grid) and XTD joined in march, that (sometime between the release of Exine in early march of 1996 and early april) Ice left Anarchy PC for Pulse, and that Lazur joined the group while retaining his membership in TRSI on the Amiga.

Pulse coorganized Rush Hour 1998 in april.

Voted #1 most popular group in Fleur 3 (may 1999).
