Avatar is a c64 cracking, importing and ntsc-fixing group, originally formed by Mutant-X and Shadow from Paradox in december of 1991. The group died after
just a few releases around february that same year, and Mutant-X moved on to Dominators. The group was later revived.

Avatar was the source of an article in the news section of Vandalism News 59 in june of 2012, where it is announced that the group has lost Darth Plagueis and Heavy Stylus as members, and that Rough had also left the group lately. It also mentions NecroPolo joining the group in january. The article concludes with an active memberstatus, listing Alias Medron, d0c, Daison, Endurion, Flower, Fredrik, Grass, Hoxy, Iceout, Kabuto, King Durin, Lunix, Maestro, NecroPolo, The Shadow and TheRyk.
