The Gathering 1998 was held at Vikingskipet in Hamar, Norway. It was the 7th The Gathering party, and the 3rd at this location. This year the event was completely sold out three weeks in advance.

Party report in Pain 04/98 (april 1998). Results appeared in Showtime 11 (june 1998).

Results based on results.txt from scene.org (marked unofficial). We then added information from the results file marked Complete official results edited by Wobba/CRS, which included amounts of votes and a couple of competitions that was not in the original file.
