Doctor Mabuse

Dr. Mabuse from Düsseldorf (The Darkness, Alpha Flight) is not to be confused with Dr. Mabuse from Kiel (Doctor Mabuse Orgasm Crackings, The Amiga Crew).

According to a note by Jeff Smart in Illegal #23, it was Dr. Mabuse who produced the scene's very first magazine, called "Schrottpresse". Since Jeff Smart started to produce "Illegal" in 1986, this must have been even before that. Sadly, no issues of "Schrottpresse" have survived. Later on, Dr. Mabuse was the editor of the "Cracker Journal", the first Amiga diskmag.
