Dual Crew was originally a c64 cracking group, and the Amiga section was formed by Stookie in 1988. They were always based in Sweden.
JBM, Trigon, Joker and Hater all left Tetragon for Dual Crew around july of 1990. Fourth Dimension 3 (july 1990) reported that Gizmo was a new member. The group held an internal meeting in Linköping during august where they released three small demos - Yum-Yum, Two Points of View and The Third Point of View - and they all announced Mace, Omega, Tip and Color (all from Nectrix), as well as Leper Messiah and Metal Messiah as new members in Sweden.
Grapevine 1 (may 1991) reported the UK section of the group had left for Genestealers. R.A.W 1 (november 1991) reported that Octoplex had joined Vision only to then quickly move on to Dual Crew with two other Vision members, Mindblaster and Flash - then all three helped form the Norwegian section of Scoopex. The same diskmagazine also reported the Shocker and Yoghurt joined from Network, that Timewalker joined from Absence, and finally that Phonebilly joined from D-Tect (but did not mention his bbs Elegant Machinery) and Zneiper joined from Motion - and that they both left to be independent within days of joining.
With the release of Mystic Places Intro at the very end of may, the group announced new members Hawk, Overlord and Deadbeat in the uk, as well as Shaggy (for Fairlight), Gamma, S.J.E, Reflex (with his bbs A Kind of Magic) and McGreives leaving the group. It further announced Catman, Story and Cruzifix were new members in Finland, that Wal had rejoined the group, and that they dismissed Hidden due to "inactivity". Its final announcement was new members in Germany; Cooper, MCM, Tron, Magic Duke, Skywalker, Razor, Crux and Maec.
In april of 1993 Dual Crew merged with Shining, and became the new group Dual Crew Shining (DCS). Among the people who came along to the new group were Haka and Snuskbuske.
