Evoke 2004 was held at the Essigfabrik in Cologne, Germany. It was the 7th Evoke event, and the first at this location.
Quote from the Evoke archive; "This year a former vinegar factory was the location for Evoke, which turned out to be a nice playground for about 350 visitors. Beneath the Evoke Netlabel Night on friday the Painstation was probably one of the most interresting features of the party. Releasewise Anima again won the Wildcompo with a stunning musicvideo called Amondo. The 64k intro compo was dominated by Uniks cute Anruf aus Schweden."
Evoke 2004 featured a party, the Evoke Netlabel Night, at Sensor Club which was located in the basement of the party hall. It featured artists from the netlabels Tokyo Dawn Records (Comfort Fit, MC Chaoz, Resound), Stadtgruen (Dataman, Martin Donath), Parkstudios (Velvet, Chimerical Child, Dhg), Ageema (Lukas Nystrand, cancelled), iD.EOLOGY (DJ mo., Sudio, Elliptic), and Thinner (Krill-Minima, Marko Fürstenberg, Ronny Pries). VJs were Z99 (aka Raver) and S-VHS Kommando.
