JED

Location: California, United States

JED was a highly influential ANSI artist and animator.

In an interview with Not! #5, Rad Man answered the question "Where the hell did you guys find Jed?" with the following, "I found him a little over a year ago on a board called Insomniac's Dream in LA. I first took notice of him when I came across some of his Circuits Edge ansi's." ... "Later on I taught him the ins and outs of 'overlay' animation, or 'slides'. And from there he took his creativity and gift to draw and put that together with the skills that he had acquired from ASNimation, and since then improved from there."

JED was interviewed for "BBS: The Documentary", the full video interview is available here.
