Vision was a c64 and Amiga demo and cracking group, originally formed in the Netherlands in 1988 on the c64. The group achieved success with their very first demo, Legalise It, topping the competition at the MGF + JOY + WWE Copy-Party 1988 in october!
The december 1989 release Footballer of the Year 2 said in its scroller, "here are luxor with the first crack for vision". The decrunch text "VISION HQ GERMANY" indicates he was German.
Some activity on the Amiga started in 1990, and saw the release of no less than two megademos from the group, as well as some minor productions. English sysop Splatt left with his board Splatterhouse to join Classic this year. The group was a co-organizer of Prime 1990 in august. The november production Tilburg Copy Party Invitation listed TSM, Facet, Blo, Hein Design, Homeboy, Crackerjack, Stingray, Timelord and Meridian as active members, and announced Jetaza and TDB had left the group. The december demo Stupid Data had a new memberlist, revealing Crackerjack (who left to form Axis) and Meridian had disappeared since last month. It further added Flash, Orc, Rick, Slash and Vector to the memberlist.
The november 1991 diskmagazine R.A.W 1 reported that Octoplex had joined Vision, but then quickly moved on to Dual Crew with two other Vision members, Mindblaster and Flash.
In 1994, Germans TNT, Excess and Slash all left Analog for Vision (source: ROM 1). Slash was the second person called Slash that joined the group, the original Slash was Dutch.
The group was "reborn" in 1995, now headquartered in Denmark.
